Britney Spears impersonator Lorna Bliss launches last-ditch attempt for fame on Britain's Got Talent

She hit the headlines in 2009 when she revealed she had spent £135,000 to look like her idol Britney Spears.

And now Lorna Bliss has launched a last-ditch attempt for fame by signing up for Britain's Got Talent.

Viewers of the ITV1 show tonight will see the Liverpudlian perform one of Britney's most famous hits, Toxic, for judges Amanda Holden, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre.

Lorna has even invested in a diamante bodysuit almost identical to the one worn by Britney in her 2004 video for Toxic.

Before performing for the audience, Lorna explained she is no stranger to drastically changing her appearance to copy Britney.

She said: 'The wigs, dental treatments, facials... if she tightens up, I tighten up; if she puts on a bit of weight, I'm like 'Hey. Pizza Hut, let's go'.

'When Britney shaved her hair off, I did it too. I've basically dedicated my whole being to being Britney.
